    Missoula County supports SB 278 - Revising local government selection procedures for professional services, on the Senate Floor this afternoon. SB 278 allows local governments, after completing a competitive process to select architectural, engineering or land survey services, to contract with those services on an as needed basis to perform work. By allowing an as needed basis, SB 278 ensures that a competitive bidding process can be used for smaller projects that would normally not under go the more rigorous procurement process. This will result in a more competitive and fair cost for local government and tax payers. Please support SB 278.
