  1. Per Ben Schmidt: "Sarah and I at the air program have no strong feelings on this repeal ethanol mandate bill. With improved vehicle fleets, the use of ethanol to reduce CO emissions from vehicles has become small. Also, since the use of non-cellulosic ethanol has only small CO2 emissions reductions, not big bang for the buck at this time for climate change emissions.

    Cellulosic ethanol, when it become economical, does have big climate change emission benefits."
