Per Pat O'Herren: Suggest withholding a recommendation on this one. There are some problems with it (funding, applicability, impact on aquatic invasives, etc.). FWP has been working with the bill's sponsor with little luck and it is looking like a second bill will be introduced. That new bill will address the purposes of HB 204, provide for additional treatment of various invasives, and would also increase the availability of funding.
I don't think we can support HB 204, but neither should we oppose it at this time.
