Per Jason Marks: "I think this simply codifies current practice as far as Missoula County is concerned. I think the proposed change is a good one, but I don’t know that the County needs to weigh in."
Per Erica Grinde: I am interested to hear Rob's position as I would think requiring the autopsies in section 6 of the revised 46-4-103 is a benefit for the County in terms of having a cause of death. The other piece of this is there is no financial burden placed on the County. Have you run this by Jason Marks and/or Matt Jennings at the County Attorney's Office? They work closely with the detention center, so there perspective would be helpful.
