    Representative Bennett,

Missoula County supports HB 371 – Allow late registrant absentee ballots to be dropped off at polling locations, before House State Administration tomorrow morning, and thanks you for sponsoring this legislation. This bill is inclusive in allowing ALL voters to deposit their ballot at a polling place. Transportation, postage costs and time may be barriers for returning one's ballot, and this provides a late registrant another feasible option. Each ballot’s signature is verified before accepting a ballot which maintains the integrity and security of one’s ballot.

    Respectfully,

Vickie Zeier on behalf of the Missoula County Commission
