Per Tyler Gernant: "I strongly support this bill. The changes reflect what we already require but make it clear instead of making it look like we're just imposing the requirement. I would definitely say Missoula County should support this as it clarifies existing law in a helpful way."
Per Tyler Gernant: This bill seeks to clarify language in existing law to become more specific. Missoula County already requires that title guarantees be in the form of a litigation guarantee, since the next logical step is a quiet title action. This bill would further reduce the risk of litigation against counties by eliminating doubt as to what type of title report is acceptable.
